First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original blue cloth with black titles to the spine, in the James E. McConnell illustrated dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents with a few light marks to the endpapers are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. The closed text block edge is a little dusty. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has a tear to the lower spine with some associated creasing but little in the way of loss. Not price-clipped (7/6 net to the lower front flap). A scarce title in dustwrapper.

A collection of two mystery novellas comprising 'Wanted: Someone Innocent' and 'Last Act'. The book was published in the US a few months earlier under the title 'Deadly Duo'. (Hubin).
