First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original orange cloth with black titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A very good or better copy, the binding firm with some bumping to the spine tips, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents, with toning to the wartime economy paper (pulp), one page with a vertical mark, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has several short closed tears to the edges and some darkening and a few marks to the rear panel. Not price-clipped (7s 6d net to the lower front flap).
