First edition, first printing. Publisher's original red cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Tom Simmonds and Trevor Vertigan designed dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth and gilt bright and fresh. The contents with a little toning to the endpapers and closed text block edge, and a crease to the upper corner of one page, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked, price-clipped dustwrapper that remains bright and without fading or tears.
