First edition, first printing. Publisher's original orange cloth with black titles and border to the upper board and spine, in the Abbey illustrated dustwrapper. An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and firm, a touch bumped at the spine tips, the cloth fresh and bright. The contents with a previous owner's bookplate and shelf stamp to the front pastedown, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that remains without fading, loss or large tears. With the publisher's printed price of 7/6 net to the spine, and a 2/6 net paper label over the top.
