THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN

First edition, first printing. Publisher's original black cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Richard Chopping illustrated dustwrapper. Green patterned endpapers. A very good or better copy, the binding firm with very minor bumping to the spine tips and corners, the cloth and gilt bright and fresh. The contents, with a little spotting to the closed text block edge which infrequently encroaches slightly into the page margins, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper that has a few tiny foxing spots and slight toning to the spine. Not price-clipped (18s to the front flap).

[Gilbert A13a (1.2 First impression, first issue, second state, binding A)], preceded only by the issue of 940 copies with the gilt stamped gun on the upper board.
