Publisher's brown cloth solander case housing individually bound facsimiles of the four surviving sketchbooks and a portfolio of 14 loose leave sketches in the collection of the Van Gogh Museum, together with a commentary volume by Marije Vellekoop and Renske Suijver. A fine copy, the four sketchbooks in a ribbon pull recess of the case, the portfolio and commentary housed in pockets within the lid.
