A near fine copy, the binding square and tight with just a touch of rubbing to the corners. The contents remain clean and crisp throughout.

An excellent association copy, gifted by the newly appointed Secretary-General of the United Nations, and later recipient of the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize, Kofi Annan to the soon-to-be-ousted British foreign secretary Malcolm Rifkind, whose tenure witnessed the Bosnian War, the British Government's commitment to a Palestinian State on the West Bank and in Gaza, and the British hand-over of Hong Kong.
