MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS

First edition, first printing. Publisher's original orange cloth with black titles to the upper board and spine. Lacking the rare dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding firm with some bumping and very minor fraying to the spine tips, the cloth a little dusty and marked. The contents are entirely complete and without loose or torn pages. There is a previous owner's signature in ink to the front pastedown, their discrete embossed address stamp to the bottom edge of the front endpaper and half title and some foxing to the pages throughout. A decent example in entirely original condition, scarce thus.

Perhaps the best known of Agatha Christie's Poirot novels, and the basis for multiple film, television and stage adaptations. Published in America later the same year under the title 'Murder on the Calais Coach'. (Hubin; Curran, John: The Hooded Gunman).
