Contemporary full tree calf by Riviere and Son for Henry Sotheran. Gilt decorated borders to the upper and lower boards. Five raised bands, fine gilt decorated compartments and titles in gilt on a green morocco label to the spine. Marbled endpapers, gilt inner dentelles. Top edge gilt. Square 8vo. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the boards just a touch bowed. The contents, with a previous owner's ink name to the blank front endpaper are otherwise clean throughout.

A very attractively bound edition of Rubáiyát.
