First edition with these illustrations and first Folio Society edition, first printing. Original illustrated cream cloth with black and silver titles to the spine. Top edge purple. Illustrated throughout in black and white by Dodie Masterman. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with a faint vertical mark to the spine. The contents are clean and bright throughout. In the lightly rubbed original slipcase which has a tiny chip to a corner of the open edge.
