Uncorrected Proof Copy: Publisher's original red card covers, printed in black with publisher's label to the upper panel, as issued. Illustrated with 21 black and white photographs. Published first edition: Publisher's original blue cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. An excellent near fine set, the bindings square and firm, with a little rubbing to the spine ends of both copies and the spine of the proof copy, lightly faded. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. The dustwrapper with some ripples in the laminate (a production flaw) is free from fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£6.50 to the front flap). An excellent set, uncommon in proof state.
