First edition with these illustrations, first printing. Original silver paper-covered boards with blindstamped titles to the spine and a grey stamped illustration to the upper board. Top edge red. Illustrated throughout with black and white line drawings by Leonard Rosoman. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the silver with a few light production creases. The contents are clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Housed in the original slipcase which is lightly rubbed to the corners.
