CONTRADICTIONS Volumes I and II

Two volumes. First edition, first printing. Publisher's original green cloth with gilt titles to the spines and a stamped flower design in red and dark green to the upper boards. Both are very copies, rubbed to the extremities, the text block spotted, the spines sunned and with a slight lean. Both have the same previous owner's inscription to the front pastedowns and spotting to the prelims, while volume one also has a tiny bookseller's label to the front pastedown. The contents are otherwise clean throughout. A scarce title.
