First edition, first printing. Publisher's original orange cloth with black titles to the upper board and spine, in the Jessie Land illustrated dustwrapper. Ilustrated with line drawings throughout the text by Jessie Land. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh, with a little bumping to the spine tips and corners. The contents, with the faint impression of an erased pencil inscription to the front endpaper are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the good, rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that is chipped with loss to the top right of the rear panel, fold corners and middle of the spine. An otherwise bright and attractive example. Not price-clipped (6/- to the lower front flap).
