First edition, first printing. Publisher's original blue cloth with white titles to the spine and an illustration in white to the upper board, in dustwrapper. Map endpapers. Illustrated throughout with line drawings by Jules Feiffer. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the extremities a little rubbed and very slightly bumped. The contents, with a previous owner's inscription to the title page, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete the good, rubbed, nicked and creased, price-clipped dustwrapper that has a closed tear down the entire length of the front panel which has been repaired on both sides with tape, along with a handful of other smaller tears at the edges.
