Illustrated throughout with two full page colour plates in each volume by Jon McCoy. Illustrated endpapers and maps by Nicolette Caven. An excellent very near fine set, the bindings square an firm, the contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. 'Half a War' is lightly spotted to the top edge of the closed text block. Complete with the fine dustwrappers, that are free from fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped ($125 to the front flaps of all three volumes).

Each volume was issued in an edition of 400 copies, of which this is a matching set, each numbered 25 and signed by the author Joe Abercrombie in black ink on the limitation page. A complete set of Abercrombie's Viking inspired young adult fantasy trilogy 'The Shattered Sea'. 'Half a King' won the Locus Award for Best Young Adult Novel.
