First edition, first printing. Publisher's original cream cloth with black titles to the spine, in the Cindy Oldenberg illustrated dustwrapper. Illustrated with a frontispiece and two black and white full page illustrations by David Russell. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with a light bump to the spine tail and a little dustiness to the board extremities. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly creased dustwrapper, which has a tiny scuff to the front panel and a patch of damp staining to the verso of the spine head and is otherwise free from fading, loss or tears.

Issued in a trade edition (as here) and an edition of 200 copies signed by Jack Vance. Collects the novella 'The Dogtown Tourist Agency' and novelette 'Freitzke's Turn' both featuring the intergalactic detective Miro Hetzel.
