LONDON AFTER DARK. An Intimate Record of Night Life in London, and a Selection of Crime Stories.

First edition, first printing. Original blue cloth with black titles to the spine, in the Reginald Mount illustrated dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographic plates. A very good copy, the binding square and firm. The contents, with a previous owner's name on the front free endpaper and light foxing to the margins and text block edge are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper which has a number of very short closed tears and tiny chips at the margins. Not price-clipped (12/6 on the front flap). An attractive example, scarce thus.

A rather salacious insight into London's criminal underworld drawing on Robert Fabian's time as the head of the Metropolitan Police's Vice Squad.
