First edition, first printing. Original orange cloth with black titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the spine tips and corners very slightly bumped, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents, with a gift inscription and light offsetting to the front free endpaper, a small bookseller's label to the front pastedown and a tiny "5" stamp to the rear pastedown, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper that has a couple of tiny short closed tears and mild toning to the spine. Not price-clipped (12s 6d on the front flap).
