First edition. Publisher's original burgundy cloth with white titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout with 82 colour photographs and 14 black and white. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with bumping to the spine ends and light rubbing to the extremities. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper that is a touch faded to the spine and upper edge, and is otherwise without loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£12.50 to the front flap).

This, the first publication of photographs produced by the artist, was issued alongside the major exhibition of the same name held at the Pompidou Centre, Paris in 1982. Alain Sayag contributes the introduction.
