CAN YOU FIND THE PUP?

First edition. Publisher's original illustrated paper covered board with red plastic spiral binding. In dustwrapper. Bright pastel coloured full page illustrations throughout with abundant and varied interactive elements including "pull the strings", "lift the flaps", and pop-ups. A very good copy, particularly for such an interactive book. The binding is square and firm, the spine with some very slight chipping and a hint of bumping to the board corners. All the pop-up and pull-out elements are present and functional, with one string missing from a "pull the string" toy truck (which is still pullable), and unobtrusive small tears on either side of a bluebird pop-up which still pops up perfectly. The very lightly toned contents are clean and bright and without stamps or inscriptions. In the original toned dustwrapper which has a few tiny chips to the spine, and a tiny closed tear to the front and back panels. Not price clipped, with a small price sticker to the front flap. A very attractive and beautifully characteristic example of a 1940s pop-up picture book.
