Top edge gilt. Marbled endpapers. Illustrated extensively with black and white plates throughout. A beautiful near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the red morocco rich and without fading. The contents, with the bookplate of the book collector Robert J. Hayhurst to the front pastedown and some spotting to the prelims and text block edge are otherwise clean throughout.
