Inscribed by the ex Prime Minister in blue ink on the title page "For Bob Holness with best wishes / Harold Wilson / 15. x. 79". The recipient was a radio and television presenter and actor. He was prolific over 4 decades, and is perhaps best known for hosting of the popular television quiz show Blockbusters. Holness was an active supporter and board member of several children's charities. This volume is Harold Wilson's personal account of his last two years as British Prime Minister, following the Labour Party's return to office in 1974.
