Silk bookmark. Housed in the original cloth slipcase. Illustrated in colour and black and white throughout. The dustwrapper (issued with the trade edition) bound into the rear, as issued. A superb fine copy. A massive compendium of hitherto unpublished information about the 20 h.p Rolls-Royce, which formed the basis of all models up to 1959, in addition to considerable detail about the company, its methods and employees.

One of only 50 copies, luxuriously bound, and signed and dated by the author to the limitation page at the rear, and 12 key employees spanning 60 years service who were instrumental in the design and production of this model (to the preliminary pages). This copy is numbered 12. Further inscribed by the author in blue ink on the front blank "Thierry - / To a good friend who / has known me from the / beginning of this enthusiasm / John / 1st Aug. 1979".Rare in commerce, this deluxe edition was presumably produced for presentation to top clients of the firm. The ultimate accessory for the Rolls Royce driver.
