Minor bumping to spine tips, light scuffing and a couple of small marks to boards. There are couple of barely visible spots to the fore-edge of the page block, and a small nick to the upper edge of p. 137. A sound copy.

Still the standard work on the subject, superseding Lionel M. Hewlett's 1920 work of the same title. The Preface and Introduction are given in English and French, the main matter of the book in English alone.
