First edition, first printing. Original black cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Ionicus illustrated dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and tight, with a very minor bump to the fore-edge of the upper board. The contents, lightly toned to the margins, are clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the original dustwrapper which is very slightly rubbed at the extremities and with a touch of fading at the spine. Not price-clipped (£7.95 on the front flap).
