From the library of the Philip Larkin scholar and biographer, James Booth, former Professor of English at the University of Hull with his name in pencil to the title page. Original card wraps illustrated with a detail from Paul Gauguin's painting 'The Vision after the Sermon'. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with some gentle creasing to the spine and light toning to pages. The contents are clean throughout. A nice copy.
