First edition, first printing. Original black cloth with titles in gilt to the spine, in the Oliver Elmes illustrated dustwrapper. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm. The contents, with a few tiny spots to the text block top edge, are otherwise clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased original dustwrapper which has a tiny closed tear to the bottom of the front panel. Not price-clipped (£2.20 to the bottom of the front flap).
