STRANGE CASE OF DR. JEKYLL AND MR HYDE

Early edition. Full burgundy leather with five raised bands, gilt titles on a black morocco inset and floral gilt decorations to the spine, a gilt heraldic emblem to the upper board and a decorative gilt border to the upper and lower boards. Inner dentelles stamped in blind, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. A very good copy, the binding square and gilt bright, the spine a touch faded, the extremities slightly rubbed, the corners with minor bumping. The contents, with a previous owner's inscription to the flyleaf, are otherwise clean and bright throughout. An attractively bound copy.
