First edition, first printing. Publisher's original yellow cloth with titles in black on the spine and upper board, in the Bip Pares illustrated dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding firm, the extremities lightly rubbed and bumped, the cloth a little dusty in places. The contents, with a small previous owner's name on the front pastedown, offsetting to the free endpapers and a some foxing to the prelims, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the good or better rubbed and nicked dustwrapper which is chipped to the spine ends and fold corners, and split at the ends of the front flap and lower spine fold (the latter with a tape repair to the underside). Not price-clipped (7/6 on the front flap).
