An unusual compendium of writings, taken from various religious traditions, demonstrating and celebrating the unity of humanity, other animals, and the natural world. The editor, Will Hayes (1890-1959), was a Unitarian minister who led the Free Religious Movement, which championed the cause of universalism or "panreligionism" - the idea that all religions are different aspects of the same truth - seeking to create "a Brotherhood of Nations through the Sisterhood of Religions".
