SNIFFIN GLUE and Other Rock 'n' Roll Habits for Anybody Who Cares About 1977! Issue 6

First edition of issue six of this influential Punk magazine. Quarto. 13 Mimeograph stapled pages, as issued. Illustrated throughout. A better than very good copy, with light toning to the extremities otherwise clean and bright. The S. G. pin-up on page 13 features an Erica Echenberg photograph of "Brian Chevette of Eater" who is clutching volume 5 of Sniffin Glue.

NME acclaimed "Sniffin' Glue" as "the nastiest, healthiest and funniest piece of press in the history of rock'n'roll habits" and it became the true chronicle of the early days of British punk rock as well as pioneering the DIY punk ethic. Fearing absorption into the mainstream music press, Perry ceased publication in 1977 with issue 12. The early and half issues had a small print run and are now scarce.
