First edition with these illustrations. Publisher's pictorial boards, in slipcase. Illustrated throughout by Joe Wilson, with a frontispiece and six further colour illustrations, one of which is double page. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the near fine, structurally sound, silver paper covered slipcase, which is rubbed and a little scuffed to the extremities.

First published in 1968, this new illustrated edition follows the text of the first edition, with minor emendations.
