First editions. Two volumes in three. Limited editions. Volume one in the publisher's original illustrated orange boards and burgundy cloth slipcase. Volume two, part one and two, in grey illustrated boards housed in a navy blue cloth slipcase. Illustrated with colour photographs throughout. A lovely very near fine set, the binding square and firm, with a light bump to the spine end of volume two: part two, a little rubbing to the corners of volume one and vertical fading along the spine. The contents are clean throughout and free from inscriptions or stamps. The original slipcases are a structurally sound with a little rubbing and shefwear to the bottom edge.

Each volume issued in an edition of 1000 copies, the first volume unnumbered and marked 'Gift' copy, the second volume numbered 284.
