A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the contents, with a neat gift inscription to the front free endpaper and some spotting to the text block edges, prelims, and occasionally to the margins, are otherwise clean. Complete with the lightly rubbed, creased, and nicked original dustwrapper which has some dustiness to the folds and a little offsetting and scuffing to the flaps. A. G. Street was primarily a farmer and wrote (sometimes semi-autobiographical) fiction with rural and farming themes to supplement him income, often set in his home county of Wiltshire. His best-known title, Farmer's Glory, describes his time farming in Canada.
