First collected edition, first printing. Original illustrated cloth, in dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout by Edward Gorey in black and white. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the corners and spine tips very lightly bumped. The contents are clean and bright throughout. Complete with the very good lightly rubbed, nicked and creased original dustwrapper which is slightly toned to the spine and has a few short closed tears to the folds and spine tips, with a few small tape repairs to the underside.
