BECKETT AT SIXTY A FESTSCHRIFT

First edition, first printing. Original red cloth with silver lettering to the spine, in dustwrapper. A very near fine copy, the binding tight and square, the contents clean and without inscriptions. The only blemish is a red spot about half a centimetre in diameter to the lower edge of the page block (near the spine). The near fine dustwrapper shows some minor surface wear, and the trace of a price sticker to the front panel. Not price-clipped and correctly priced (25s) to the front flap. A sharp copy.

Still one of the most useful books on Beckett and his work, including contributions (reminiscences and essays) from an array of writers, directors, publishers and friends.
