First edition, first printing. Original red cloth with black titles to the spine and upper board, in dustwrapper. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece and black and white drawings by R. J. Macdonald. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the extremities a little rubbed, the upper edge of the rear board with a slight bump. The contents, with a little light spotting to the text block fore-edge, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the rubbed and creased dustwrapper that has a few short closed tears to the edges, repaired with two pieces of tape to the underside. Price-clipped to the front flap.
