Publisher's original blue cloth with titles in gilt to the spine, in the publisher's blue cloth slipcase. An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth with just a few very light marks. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owner's marks. Housed in the very lightly rubbed and marked, structurally sound, slipcase. Scarce in this form.

Issued in a limited edition of 300 hardcover copies, of which is numbered 41 and signed by Samuel R. Delany and William Gibson on the limitation page. A science fiction and counter culture classic. First published in 1975 as a paperback original by Bantam Books. A hardcover edition was published by Gregg Press in 1977, based on the Bantam edition with many errors corrected, and with an introduction by Jean Mark Gawron. This new edition features a three page foreword 'The Recombinant City' by the speculative fiction writer, essayist and cyperpunk pioneer William Gibson.
