First edition thus. Original tan cloth with titles and decorations to the spine and upper board, in dustwrapper. Decorative endpapers. Portrait frontispiece. Illustrated with black and white drawings by Y. Kanevsky. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm, with a little bumping at the corners. The contents, with a previous owner's name on the half title and some toning to the paper-stock, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that remains without loss or large tears. Uncommon.
