First edition, first printing. Original orange cloth with gilt titles to the spine and a double ruled gilt border on the upper board, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents, with some light foxing to the endpapers and closed text block edge are otherwise clean and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper that has some very shallow chipping at the head of the slightly toned spine. Not price clipped (7/6 on the front flap).
