A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owner's marks. The closed text block edge is faintly spotted. Complete with the lightly rubbed dustwrapper, which has a few small scuffs to the rear panel and is otherwise without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£1.40 net to the lower front flap).

Signed by Roger Zelazny in black ink on the title page. First published in America as a paperback original in 1969, this British first edition is the first hardcover edition. Nominated for the 1969 Nebula Award for Best Science Fiction Novel.
