Printed by The Bath Press on Camelot Laid paper, specially made for this edition. Photogravure frontispiece. Illustrated with full page and in text drawings in black by Aubrey Beardsley. An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and firm with just a little rubbing to the extremities. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Housed in the publisher's black cloth solander case with a pocket inside containing the 14 page booklet 'Thomas Malory, the Morte Darthur and Aubrey Beardsley', by Anthony S. G. Edwards, as issued.

Issued in a deluxe limited edition of 1000 copies of which this example is numbered 416 to the limitation page at the rear. Originally published in 1485 by William Caxton, this facsimile edition is a reproduction of the third Dent edition with the omission of certain preliminary material replaced by the accompanying essay by Anthony S. G. Edwards. With modern spelling and embellished with many original designs throughout by Aubrey Beardsley.
