Original Cockerell Marbled Paper covered boards with white paper title label, printed in black and brown to the upper board, brown cloth spine with titles in black. Designed and printed by Sebastian Carter at the Rampant Lions Press, the text set in Monotype Bulmer by Speedpools of Edinburgh.. A fine copy. The binding square and tight, the contents clean throughout and without previous owner's marks. Loosely laid in is a compliments slip, inscribed by the publisher apologising for the delay in sending the book.

Issued in a limited edition of 100 copies, 75 of which were for sale and a further 25 hors commerce. This example is number 4 (of the 75), signed by Michael Hamburger in black ink on the limitation page at the rear.
