First UK edition, first printing. Original pale brown cloth with black lettering to the spine, in dustwrapper. A better than very good copy, the cloth clean with minor pushing to spine tips, the contents without inscriptions or stamps. The dustwrapper shows a few small patches of loss to edges and corners (most significantly to the head of the spine) and a few nicks to extremities; the colours, however, remain bright and sharp. Not price-clipped and correctly priced (8s. 6d. net to the front flap). An attractive example.
