Original green cloth with red lettering to the spine and horse illustration to front panel, in the dustwrapper designed by Anne Bullen, who also provides the illustrations within. An about very good copy, the binding square and firm, the contents, except for a previous owner's name and address neatly written in blue ink to the front free endpaper, clean throughout. Page block edges lightly marked, lower edges untrimmed. The spine is toned, faded and slightly mottled. In the rubbed, nicked, creased, lightly soiled dustwrapper, with areas of loss to the spine (one patch cutting into the author's printed name) and a number of closed tears. Not price clipped (8s. 6d. net to the front flap).
