OLD MAN'S BEARD. Fifteen Disturbing Tales.

First edition, [second printing]. Publisher's original light blue cloth with black titles to the upper board and spine. A good or better copy. The binding square and firm with some rubbing at the extremities, spine tips softened and rubbed and a couple of marks on the boards. The contents with some tanning to the cheap paper stock are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps.

Although it retains the printing statement on copyright page "First published April 1929," this is a second printing from later the same year. The first printing was on slightly better paper and was bound in grey cloth, lettered in dark blue. This issue is printed on a lesser grade of wood pulp paper and is bound in blue cloth or boards with titles in black. (Bleiler). From the library of Martin Stone.
