First edition, first printing. Original pictorial boards, in dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout in colour by Quentin Blake. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the extremities lightly rubbed. The contents are clean and bright throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the very lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper which is a touch faded at the spine. Not price-clipped (£1.40 on the front flap). Scarce.
