First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original beige cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the upper board with a faint mark. There is slight spotting at the closed text-block edge, the contents are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the slightly spine-faded dustwrapper which remains without loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£13.99 on the front flap).
