First edition, first printing. Later published as "The Woman Who Vowed". Publisher's original blue cloth with gilt titles to the spine and attractive black and white stamped titles and illustration to the upper board. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the boards a little rubbed to the extremities. The contents, with a few faint marks to the outer margins are otherwise clean and free of stamps and inscriptions. A scarce title.
